At least 17 workers killed, many missing in Indian railway bridge collapse

The province's top elected official said the incident happened when an under-construction railway overbridge collapsed near capital Aizawl.

"Under construction railway over bridge at Sairang near Aizawl collapsed today, at least 15 workers died," Mizoram chief minister Zoramthang, who uses only one name, said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
