A man has died and several others injured in a tour bus crash in Australia's Red Centre, more than an hour west of Alice Springs.
A man has died in a tour bus crash in Australia's Red Centre, west of Alice Springs, Northern Territory Police say.
In a statement, NT Police said emergency services received a report of the incident about 3:30pm today. The bus crashed along Larapinta Drive, five kilometres east of the remote community of Hermannsburg, more than one hour west of Alice Springs.Some passengers have been transported via ambulance to Alice Springs Hospital.Motorists have been asked to follow all directions while emergency vehicles remain in the area.The Northern Territory's Major Crash Investigation Unit and NT Worksafe are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
