Attitudes towards China have “dramatically hardened” as a new poll reveals Australian concerns over military threats, says Sky News Reporter Trudy McIntosh.
“It shows Australians – 75 per cent of them – believe it is likely in the next 20 years that China will be a military threat,” Ms McIntosh told Sky News Australia.
Ms McIntosh also said nearly 90 per cent of Australian respondents in the 2022 Lowy Institute Poll were concerned China would potentially set a military base in the Solomon Islands.
