Aubrey Plaza pulled a hilariously sadistic prank on her The White Lotus season 2 co-stars. Best known for her breakthrough role as April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation, Plaza joined the cast of HBO's anthology series for its sophomore season, which premiered October 30 on HBO. As The White Lotus season 2 shifts its setting from Hawaii to Sicily, Plaza stars as Harper Spiller, a straight-laced lawyer who acts as a relatively rational voice among the group of bon vivant vacationers.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY While filming The White Lotus season 2, the cast and crew were cooped up together for five months in a centuries-old hotel in Sicily that used to be a convent, and Plaza took the opportunity to pull a prank on her co-stars, per a GQ profile.
In another instance reminiscent of her Blair Witch-inspired prank on set of The White Lotus season 2, Plaza once got into a prank war with Gabriel Bateman, who played her onscreen son in the Child's Play remake. During production, the two attempted to scare each other in increasingly dramatic ways. Compared to The White Lotus, Plaza's attempts weren't as successful though, as the young star attested to not being scared in the slightest.
After The White Lotus season 2, Plaza has two exciting projects on the horizon in Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis and the WandaVision spinoff, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, starring Kathryn Hahn. The former is an epic film that stars Adam Driver, Forest Whitaker, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jon Voight, and Laurence Fishburne, while the Marvel series has also cast WandaVision's Sarah Proctor/Dottie Jones actor Emma Caulfield and Heartstopper star Joe Locke.
