A teenager enjoying a drink in his garden was taken to hospital along with the driver who's now been arrested
A man says his brother is lucky to be alive after an Audi being chased by police crashed into the side of their house and landed on its roof in their garden.
Mr Ashley and his family have been advised not to sleep in their home whilst potential structural damage is assessed. "He heard it, has gone to move, and as he's gone to move it's hit him. It sent him flying into the wall, and landed on top of his leg. Both men were attended to by paramedics and taken to hospital. Mr Ashley says his brother, who suffered leg injuries, was discharged around 4am.
"It could have been a lot worse. About 30 seconds before I was literally sat where the car landed. So it would have just taken me out. My brother was lucky as he was on the end of the bench at the backside of the car. But seconds before he was sat on the other side.
