Former Defence Minister Christopher Pyne says the US, UK and Australian relationship has been a “transformational change” in the security of the Indo-Pacific.
“In some ways represents a failure of Chinese Foreign and Defence Policy,” Mr Pyne told Sky News Australia. “If the Chinese government in Beijing had thought that by being more assertive in challenging the US, the West would shrink away from the Indo-Pacific.
