A similar law requiring COVID vaccinations has been and remains in place for the United States, where Giorgi played the US Open last August.
“I just did all my vaccination in different places,” the Italian said on Tuesday in her first public comments about the accusations. “I did everything what they ask, the Australian government. Each year we are fine with that. Of course, I did all the vaccination yes.”Questions about the saga derailed the press conference after Giorgi was only once asked about her powerful win over Pavlyuchenkova.
