The all-rounder notched up 47 runs in the second innings of the Perth Test, but aside from this result he has failed to hit double digits in a single innings. He has not fared much better with the ball in hand either, similarly peaking in the Perth Test with three wickets across both innings but failing to nab any in the following Tests. He was brought into the Test squad during the Adelaide Test and Cummins told reporters the introduction of Webster will'freshen up' the team. 'Mitchey hasn't quite gotten the runs or perhaps the wickets that he would've liked this series so we felt like it was time for a freshen up and Beau's been with the squad, he's been great,' Cummins said.
