From Balkan bike trails to the Swahili coast of Africa: long-running travel guide Lonely Planet has released their list of the ten best regions to travel to in 2024.Crowds in Scotland instinctively flow to the battlements of Edinburgh Castle, the shores of Loch Lomond and the peaks of Glencoe.
