Australian Lamb has launched a funny new campaign targeting Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern after they backflipped on their plans to reopen borders in light of the Omicron variant.

Earlier this month, Mr McGowan declared every jurisdiction in the country to be an"extreme risk", locking the state off from the rest of the country.

In New Zealand, the lamb advertisement on a billboard reads:"Hey Jacinda, BBQ at ours. No need to bring any lamb. Cheers, Scott." Ms Ardern previously announced plans to reopen the border for vaccinated travellers in mid-February, however, she delayed the reopening, citing the rapid spread of the Omicron variant.
