Two weeks ago, no one knew who Raygun was. Now, the Australian Olympic breaker has featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, at UFC 305 and, on Sunday night, even at the Logies. The viral sensation made a brief appearance via video at Australian TV’s night of nights, giving permission to all award winners to celebrate with her infamous dance moves.
“I’d like to acknowledge our youngest ever gold medallist, 14-year-old skateboarder, Arisa Trew,” Pang said. “Now, as a reward, her parents promised her a pet duck. “Meanwhile, Raygun’s parents have promised to get her breakdancing lessons.” Larry Emdur was the toast of the night, winning the Gold Logie. Marketing gurus have predicted Australia’s version of Eric the Eel will make millions after her viral moment at the Olympics.
