Elle Macpherson has revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The Aussie supermodel, 60, spoke about the health challenges in her new book, Elle, saying she was diagnosed with cancer seven years ago and is now in remission. Elle found out about the cancer following a lumpectomy to remove a growth in 2017. Elle took a holistic approach to her cancer journey, refusing to undergo a mastectomy, radiaiton and chemotherapy - dimissing advice from “32 doctors and experts”.
She talks about going to a beach in Miami to pray and meditate after a series of experts and doctors told her about her diagnosis. “She said in all, 32 had advised her to follow the traditional course . “She chose, she said, the toughest choice of her life, not to follow the traditional course. But to follow a course that was closer to her heart and she went to Phoenix, rented an apartment, and concentrated on her good health. “She talks today about being fully in remission.
