Aussie superstar steps away for second season to focus on young family
In another confirmed move, Lauren Moore has announced she won’t be returning to the Giants for next season.
Moore had crossed from the NSW Swifts ahead of the 2022 season, but struggled for court time in her debut year at the club. Despite more opportunities at goal keeper this season, the 25-year-old will instead explore her options. “I am so grateful for the opportunities I was given both on and off the court but most importantly the people I’ve had the chance to cross paths with and the bonds I’ve been able to create,” Moore said.
“Even though change is scary, I’m so excited for the opportunity to dive into something new where I hope to continue to grow and thrive as both a player and person.“I will miss my GIANTS family and the Orange Army but thank you for being part of my journey.”“Lauren had some standout performances for us at the backend of the season and it’s a shame we won’t be seeing her continue her future in the orange and charcoal,” she said.
