Aussie travellers have been warned about a danger along one of the most popular coastal stretches in Bali . Indonesia’s Meteorology , Climatology and Geophysics Agency issued an urgent warning on Thursday over extremely high waves that could reach up to four metres.
” The warning comes almost two months after a Perth man died after getting dragged out to sea while saving a distressed swimmer. Craig Laidley, 56, jumped into the water to save a fellow tourist on October 16 but was swept out to sea as they reached the safety of rocks. His heartbroken family said his bravery and determination in that moment were a testament to his character. “It is no surprise to us that he put his life on the line to help another in need,” loved ones said in a statement.
