BoM releases Christmas Day forecast. On Thursday, BoM senior meteorologist Miriam Bradbury appeared on Sunrise with details about the outlook. “At this point we are only looking at storms in the far northern parts of the country, the tropics which often see storms at this time of year. So, showers and storms for those northernmost parts,” Bradbury said. “Darwin could potentially see a lightning strike or two but at this stage just a few showers.
