WEATHER ALERT: NWSSanAntonio has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for most of Central Texas until 10 p.m.

Today will be mostly sunny, with highs in the low to mid 90s. Renegade storms later in the afternoon and early evening may develop in western counties, bringing rain and potential severe weather.The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Gillespie, Hays, Bastrop, Lee, Blanco, Travis, Llano, Burnet, Williamson County, San Saba, Mason, Bell, Milam and Lampasas Counties until 10 p.m.

There is a Level 2 severe weather risk for the Hill Country. Large hail and damaging winds along with lightning will be the main threats..
