There are signs the trading stalemate between Australia and China could soon be over. Beijing has put forward a deal to end its crippling 200 per cent tariff on Australian wine and grant exports back into the country. They say they are willing to cooperate but want both governments to accommodate one another's concerns. Sources close to the Albanese Government say they are adamant a deal can be reached. Anthony Albanese is set to become the first Prime Minister in seven years to travel to China, preparing for the trip towards the end of 2023.

Mr Miles has claimed the restrictions, if imposed, could drive the cost of air travel up even further. The Greens party had successfully campaigned on the Brisbane Airport noise issue in the 2022 federal election and subsequently secured three seats, including one of Labor's. “The Greens are not a Party of the environment – they are a Party of the wealthy, inner-city elites,” he said. “What they are saying is that planes should not fly over the homes of wealthy, inner-city elites – they should only fly over the homes of working people.”

The people speaking out on Hollywood’s ‘debauchery’ get held accountable: KnowlesThe people speaking out on Hollywood’s ‘debauchery’ get held accountable: KnowlesDaily Wire Political Commentator Michael Knowles says it is the people who “speak out” against Hollywood’s “typical debauchery” who tend to be held to account for their industry misdeeds. His comments come as actor Russell Brand is facing sexual misconduct allegations dating back to 2006. 'The longer the time between the alleged crimes and the consequences for those crimes, the more sceptical I am about the people who are suddenly moved to prosecute,” Mr Knowles told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan. “They put themselves in compromising positions and they get away with it until they stop towing the party line and then all of a sudden it becomes a political attack. “The big transgression here seems to be more political than sexual because the women say they were only motivated to speak out when they were contacted by journalists.”
