Mr Morrison claimed officials were "making steady progress" processing visas for Afghan nationals who had helped the Australia Defence Force and other agencies, and were now in potentially life-threatening danger at the hands of the Taliban. He said the government had arranged commercial flights to bring Afghans who qualified for the visas to Australia.
