CEDA Chief Economist Jarrod Ball says Australia needs to look at how to close the fiscal gap and make some “progress” to bring down some of the debt.

“I’m not debt alarmist here … we do need to make some progress here, we’re not necessarily going to eliminate debt all in one

hit and very quickly but we do need to make progress and bring it down,” Mr Ball told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
