To NSW, where a snap five-minute strike just after 3am has made the morning commute a nightmare for some Sydneysiders.The Rail, Tram and Bus Union stopped work for just five minutes at 3:10 this morning, which caused what Transport for NSW described as “minor delays” across the entire network.The delays are significant in Sydney’s southwest, where some commuters reported waiting an hour for a train, according to radio station 2GB.Macarthur station appears to be the worst.

“Due to Protected Industrial Action earlier this morning, delays and larger than normal gaps in services may be experienced to some trains,” a Transport for NSW alert said.“Extra travel time may be experienced in some cases and you may need to change to continue your trip. Consider using Metro services between Epping, Chatswood, Central and Sydenham.
