Federal Workplace Minister Murray Watt says today is D-Day for passing his bill that would force part of the CFMEU into administration. The government has been trying to pass emergency legislation this week to put the union’s construction division into administration, after a series of revelations about its ties to organised crime.Watt has been negotiating the details of the bill with the Greens and Coalition.“Today is D-day for passing this bill,” Watt told ABC Radio National this morning.
