But as important as, say, live theatre is – it’s not worth a lockdown.”Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says the state Labor government will meet its election promise of removing 50 level crossings by 2022 and will in fact have removed 85 crossings by 2025.
New level crossings marked for removal include three more on the busy Pakenham line that runs through Melbourne’s south-east.Victorian Transport Minister Jacinta Allan says a total of 13 new stations will also be constructed by 2025. Ms Berejiklian said if NSW was able to get its vaccination rates up, the state could look forward to having more freedoms than other jurisdictions.
As for the COVID-19 positive man who was staying at a backpackers in Brisbane, Ms D’Ath praised the manager of the venue for his diligence and record-keeping.
