Walker's triumph saw her secure second place on the final World Cup monobob standings with 1,549 points, the best end-of-season ranking of her career.Walker set a track record in Lake Placid with her first run, clocking 59.22 seconds. She recorded 59.45 in her second and final run to finish ahead of American Elana Meyers Taylor on the combined two-run times, with Canada's Cynthia Appiah placing third."It feels amazing, I came into this week knowing that I can be competitive and to come away with a win is the best possible way I could end the monobob season, I am so happy," Walker said.
