Opposition Leader Bill Shorten says Australia should not be a ‘soft touch’ when it comes to taxing multinational companies that operate in the country.
Speaking at the Sky News/Courier-Mail People's Forum, the Labor leader says he will announce more multinational tax strategies at the party’s campaign launch on Sunday. Mr Shorten says multinationals need to be accountable in the taxation system, and the government can do more.
