BREAKING: Trio axed as Australia unveils 15-player squad for World Cup
Australia has unveiled a provisional 15-player squad for the upcoming World Cup campaign in India, with Tanveer Sangha, Aaron Hardie and Nathan Ellis missing out on selection.
On Wednesday morning, Cricket Australia announced that Sangha, Hardie and Ellis were the unlucky trio to miss out, with all-rounder Sean Abbott and wicketkeeper Josh Inglis headlining the 15-player squad. Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell are all nursing injuries, but are expected to recover before the World Cup gets underway in early October.
