‘The sport’ of breaking has copped a hiding on its Olympics debut and an Aussie has also been cruelly mocked Australia’s Rachael Gunn — or Raygun — was one of the athletes involved and her performance failed to impress. Breakdancing will not feature at the next Olympics in Los Angeles and it’s easy to understand why. Fans — or rather non-fans — took to social media to smash the event, saying it is “not a sport” and required the least amount of skill ever.
And another: “Never watched breaking before but I can already tell Raygun doesn’t have a chance in this event.” And another: “The Aussie B-girl Raygun dressed as a school PE teacher complete with cap while everyone else is dressed in funky breaking outfits has sent me ... “It looks like she’s giving her detention for inappropriate dress at school.
