The ACA shows its support for Tim Paine, saying it didn't feel he needed to step down as Australian men's Test captain despite the sexting scandal revelations.
The Australian Cricketers' Association has shown support for Tim Paine, saying it is saddened he "felt the need to resign" as Australian men's Test captain.ACA released a statement saying it did not believe Paine needed to quit as captain.
"While regrettable, this was an historical mistake that was a private matter between consenting individuals. Tim fully cooperated in an integrity investigation by Cricket Australia in 2018 in which he was exonerated.
