Foreign Minister Penny Wong has delivered a forceful condemnation of North Korea’s “reckless” behaviour amid concerns about escalating regional tension.

Picture: DFAT While both countries have denied transacting weapons, Ms Wong condemned the “continued transfer” of arms from North Korea to Russia. During her visit to South Korea, the Foreign Minister has been scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul to discuss regional solidarity.
The Foreign Minister also highlighted the AUKUS partnership and the potential interest of South Korea in joining Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States alliance.
