Australian man Luke Nardini who has been charged with manslaughter over a deadly crash in San Francisco has been ordered to stay in California while he awaits a further court date.
The 31-year-old says he is struggling to come to terms with a car crash that claimed the lives of two San Francisco locals."No one wants to go through that," Nardini said.on bail for the past month after paying more than $30,000 to secure his release from prison, but that release came with conditions.
The West Australian man fronted a California court today, where his case was postponed for another two months. Police say the 31-year-old car enthusiast was driving a BMW M4 when he went through a construction zone and veered into the wrong lane, colliding head-on with a Ford SUV carrying four people.The 31-year-old is holding onto support from his community of Narrogin in Western Australia. Nardini later told officers he was confused about which side of the road he should be on.
