After taking the first set and fighting from a break down to tie the second, Djokovic was called for consecutive time violations. That cost him his first serve on a break point, and he then quickly lost the set.
As Djokovic returned to his bench after the time violations, he patted the chair umpire on the shoe, which could result in a $20,000 fine post-match.He then sarcastically told him: “Great job man, especially in the second one. You made yourself famous, well done.” Either way, Djokovic was clearly bothered by the fan support for his opponent, fuming after a crowd interuption during a long rally. He yelled “shut the f*** up” at no-one in particular.
