NSW Shadow Water and Housing Minister Rose Jackson says Australia is not “winning” in the school international “talent race”.
“I don’t know the best way to tell a student who’s failing at school you’re not doing well enough,” Ms Jackson told Sky News host Cory Bernardi.
“There are too many kids that are falling behind at our schools, and I think we should just accept that and acknowledge more needs to be done … international talent race, Australia isn’t winning.”
