Residents of an inner-city Brisbane suburb have waged war on global food chain McDonald’s over its plans to build a 24-hour restaurant in their backyard. 7NEWS

Greenslopes residents are up in arms over the planned development on the corner of Plimsoll Street and Logan Road.

Locals are “outraged” that no traffic report had been done for a 24-hour McDonald’s driveway on to Plimsoll Street, which already had a major driveway entry/exit feeding from the Greenslopes Mall shopping plaza, Carnegie said. A meeting is planned with local government on Saturday March 11 at Councillor Fiona Cunningham’s office.A Greenslopes resident shared a response they said they had received from Councillor for Holland Park Krista Adams online.
