Immunisation Foundation of Australia Founder Catherine Hughes says Australians “might soon” have a vaccine available for Respiratory Syncytial Virus for infants, pregnant mothers, and possibly adults.

“But we are seeing internationally some vaccines starting to be approved for pregnant mums, for babies, I think for adults as well.

“We might soon have a vaccine, we just have to go through Australia’s very rigorous approval process first.”
