We Need Social Founder and CEO Celine Schillinger says Australians cannot just hand over their problems to a strong leader, and the country needs to get involved together and invent “new forms of democracy”.
“Too often we are developing this helplessness and sense of how nothing can change … lets hand over our fate to this strong man or strong woman, and then he or she will save us,” she told Sky News host Chris Smith.
“That’s not how things will work, we all need to get involved together so we need to invent new forms of democracy in our society but also in our business.”
