Indonesia has introduced new health safety measures for all Australian and foreign visitors following a recent surge in mpox cases.
Australians headed to Bali will be subjected to new health measures and requirements following a recent spike of mpox cases at the tourist hotspot.
The government has since introduced new screening measures at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport and has required all visitors to download the SatuSehat app.Indonesia’s Ministry of Health introduced the SatuSehat app to enforce “electronic self-declaration” forms and to track the spread of the mpox virus.
Under the new rules, every passenger and flight crew member must complete the SatuSehat Health Pass form via the app before passing through immigration. The new measures have been implemented ahead of Bali hosting the Indonesia-Africa Forum 2024 from September 1-3.
