Independent Senator David Pocock says the government’s emissions reduction target of 43 per cent is “a good start”, however he is hoping to achieve 60 per cent.
“I think the thing that Australians want is for an end to the climate wars and to actually have a target that we can work towards,” he
told Sky News host Erin Molan.“This is such a huge opportunity for us here in Australia. We’ve got more renewable resources than anywhere else.”
