Prime Minister Anthony Albanese insists Australians will overwhelmingly support the Voice to Parliament at the referendum, despite shocking new polling.
shows more people are now against the Voice to Parliament than for it.
“No, this is a proposition that has come from the bottom up, from the grass roots, arising from the First Nations constitutional convention in 2017 at Uluru,” he told the ABC on Monday. Those against enshrining the Voice into the Constitution increased to 47 per cent, up from 43 per cent on June 4.
