Fisheries and health officials have issued warnings after thousands of dead fish were found washed up at Gnoorea Point near Karratha.
An estimated 30,000 fish have been found dead at Gnoorea Beach, in northern Western Australia.Fisheries officials are investigating the deaths of around 30,000 fish, which have been found along Western Australia's Pilbara coast.
The deceased fish were found along a nine-kilometre stretch of shoreline slightly south of a popular campground at Gnoorea Point. People have also been warned to stay away from the dead fish and prevent pets or other animals from coming into contact with decomposing flesh.
