There’s no such thing as a completely foolproof beauty trend, as Selena Gomez proved with her brow lamination mishap earlier this year.
In her video, the beauty fan showed herself pre-lamination, revealing a gorgeous pair of dark, fluffy brows. However, her video took a turn as she showed herself after the laminating process, with her eyebrows completely gone and peeling, flaky skin surrounding the place where they used to be. If you’ve sacrificed your brows in a beauty mishap, you’re in good company, as Kylie Jenner previously revealed her eyebrows ‘fell off’’ after a bleaching disaster left her with thin, sparse hair.
You should also avoid tweezing, waxing or threading your eyebrows beforehand, ideally leaving them for around four weeks before your appointment.
