.Axwell just gave halsey’s Graveyard” an appropriately Halloween-ready remix
The last time we heard the pop supernova’s recent single, she performed it live in front of a studio audience onin its original form -- an emotional midtempo ballad about loving someone so much, you don’t realize you’re doing so at great personal cost.
In his version, Axwell strips "Graveyard" of its melodic, bubbly vulnerability and takes the song's remnants to the nearest club, where he adds a brooding bassline, stadium-size synths and adrenaline-pumping percussion that gives the song an almost alluring and certainly sweaty sense of darkness.
