He has slammed the 'disgusting behaviour' he witnessed
A former Emmerdale actor and star of hit musical The Bodyguard has slammed the "disgusting behaviour" of audience members who "tried to sing over the cast" resulting in "mini riots" and scenes of utter chaos.
However, despite a handful of initial evictions, there were a group of people who continued to sing and it resulted in the police being called. The Manchester Evening News reports that there were "mini riots" with "fights" breaking out among those watching. The show had to be stopped 10 minutes early during the big finale and rendition of 'I Will Always Love You', with audience members told to leave the theatre.
Speaking out on the decision to ask audience members not to sing during performances, he tweeted earlier yesterday: "It’s not karaoke, we want people to enjoy themselves, and enjoy the performances they have paid to see.
