Ayrshire mum battling cancer pays emotional thanks to skatepark for gifting free BMX to son
An Ayrshire mum who is battling stage 4 cancer has thanked a kind skate park for surprising her son with a BMX.
We previously told how Lauren is fighting Stage 4 Non Hodgkin's lymphoma after being diagnosed last year.And when they asked the community where to send their surprise gift they were inundated with responses for the bike to be pedalled to the South Ayrshire village. A post on Facebook read: "So happy we were able to bring an early Christmas present to a family that could really do with some good fortune.
