The latest round of deadly fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh, which has left at least 18 people dead and more than 100 wounded, reignites concerns about the stability of the region.

The Azerbaijan Army has accused Armenian forces of using human shields as deadly fighting again erupts over the disputed separatist region of Nagorno-Karabakh, leaving at least 18 people dead and more than 100 wounded.

In a televised address to the nation, Mr Aliyev said that "there are losses among the Azerbaijani forces and the civilian population as a result of the Armenian bombardment," but did not give further details.
