San Diego State sending out survey to solicit input in effort to enhance value, improve game-day experience for fans in Year 2 at Snapdragon Stadium
San Diego State is asking football season-ticket holders for feedback on how to improve the game-day experience at Snapdragon Stadium.SDSU athletic department officials said they have been “extensively reviewing the inaugural football season in an effort to improve upon the experience this fall.”The email mentioned a desire to enhance “season-ticket member benefits, interest-free payment plan options and how to relocate or upgrade your seat location through our annual online event.
Greene said SDSU has heard from “hundreds, if not thousands” of fans since Snapdragon debuted on Sept. 3 for SDSU’s 2022 season opener against Arizona. But this is a more comprehensive and scientific way to give everyone a voice.For instance, parking, which rose from $12 at SDCCU Stadium to $40 at Snapdragon Stadium.
Some season ticket holders were put off last season when single-game ticket prices were slashed in midseason. In response to thousands of empty seats during several early-season games — mostly on the east side of the stadium — SDSU reduced single-game prices by as much as 70 percent for the remaining three games of the season.“Would I think they will be more in line with the second half of the season) vs. the first half, that’s more than likely,” Greene said.
“What can we do to enhance your member benefits to give you more value without asking for more in return and enhance your game-day experience?” Greene said. “This is our chance to make adjustments and get better.” “In my mind, we’re at a point now going from Year 1 to Year 2 where we really get to dig into our customer.”“We’ve got to get better at offering value to our season ticket members and our member benefit package,” Greene said. “We’ve got to make that much more appealing, much more valuable . ...
