The five-star prospect ranked as the nation’s No. 2 prep player by 247Sports had 227 yards and two touchdowns on just 11 completions … by halftime.
A week ago, Kelly said he planned to play all three quarterbacks, then used two. Moore and Garbers finished with similar stats, although the freshman had one fewer interception and showed a calm in the pocket belying his years. : “I talked to God and my people and really within myself. I knew that UCLA was the right move for me.”
“If I would have come in the fall, I would have been screwed right now, for sure,” Moore said. “I’m really happy I got the chance to come in early and get to see how the offense is. … I love Cali. I’m glad I’m out here.”
