A baby boy who was critically injured when an airbag deployed in a crash in Sydney two days ago has died.
A BMW 320i sedan, being driven by 31-year-old Peter Watfa with his son Zachariah also on board, collided with a Mercedes Benz CLK500 just a few hundred metres from where the Watfas live. According to the initial police findings, Zachariah is believed to have been riding on his father's lap in the driver's seat when the BMW’s front driver airbag deployed, causing the child to suffer critical head and facial injuries.
