A man has been arrested after he allegedly poured petrol on a baby girl during a domestic assault in Wollongong last night. 9News
A 48-year-old woman used a pram to barricade herself into a room with the baby after a 41-year-old man started verbally abusing her, police said.When the woman went to wash the baby's face, the man allegedly hit her over the back of the head with a glass.and arrested the man.
He was charged with three counts of assault, destroy or damage property and stalk/intimidate intend fear etc physical harm.The baby was treated by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.
