Stephanie Ryan and eight-year-old Raven died in a townhouse fire east of Brisbane on Sunday.
A babysitter killed in a fire with her best friend's daughter is being remembered for her willingness to help others.The fire broke out on Bayside Court in the Redlands suburb of Thorneside about 7am and was put out about an hour later."She was lovely, there is no other word," she said.The 31-year-old was "always happy, smiling, she would do anything for anyone no matter what," Ms Linsley said.
He said he had seen footage of "some incredibly brave acts" from bystanders who attempted to quell the blaze, and to get people out of the home but that it was a "futile cause".In a statement, the principal of Birkdale South State School Amanda Turnbull said Raven was an "adored" student. "Raven was a precious part of our school community. Staff and students adored her cheerfulness, friendly smiling face and imagination," she said.
