Singer/actor Bad Bunny has reportedly left El Muerto, the Sony superhero movie he was supposed to star in.
It was recently announced that the upcoming Sony’s Spider-Man Universe movie, El Muerto, would be delayed indefinitely from its original release date of January 12, 2024. The movie was set to star singer/actor Bad Bunny as Juan-Carlos Sánchez and be directed by Jonás Cuarón., Bad Bunny will no longer be portraying the titular role in the film. However, the movie will still be happening, and Sony will be looking for another actor to recast the role.
The project began development when Sony executives were impressed with his performance in 2022’s Bullet Train and wanted to build another project around him.There is no current release date for El Muerto. The project has been delayed indefinitely. The next movie in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe will be Kraven the Hunter, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
