A Tasmanian wildlife rescue volunteer called out to help a family, assaulted three girls aged 10 and under who were helping him bury the animal in their yard.

The court heard Coleman asked one of the girls if he could feel the fabric on her top and touched her chest area.

After he left, the girls told their mother about the incident and she reported it to Tasmania Police. The court heard the prosecution will seek to have Coleman placed on the sex offender register for the remainder of his life ahead of his sentencing.
